Within the scope of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, on 13 November the Belbrand Association conducted an information seminar on issues of protection of intellectual property and gave a presentation of the national-level project “Women’s business”. And on 14 November at the Imaguru business club the deputy chairman of the Association Valentina Dynich acted as a speaker in the course of the training workshop in the framework of the republican contest of innovational projects and gave a speech on a subject “Ways of commercialization and promotion of innovational projects”.
On 13 November events were held on the basis of the Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship.
In the information seminar took part the experts of the national project “Women’s business” along with entrepreneurs and representatives of public organizations. Patent attorneys of the Republic of Belarus Denis Nedvetski and Pavel Klementsov from the International agency for intellectual property protection “Goryachko, Nedvetski & Partners” told the participants of the workshop about the status quo of counterfeiting in the field of public health, granting pats to inventions in medicine, as well as about the latest amendments take place in legislation in this field.
The presentation of the national project “Women’s business” (www.женскоедело.бел) was given by the deputy chairman of the BelBrand Association, the head of the department of innovational projects Valentina Dynich jointly with the executive director of the Association Nina Kalita.
The national project “Women’s business” is aimed at furtherance of small- and mid-scale business in the Republic of Belarus, popularization of entrepreneurship as the women’s effective life strategy and an opportunity of self-employment. The organizers of the project are the public association “Belarusian Women’s Union” and the BelBrand Association.
